There’s nothing quite like the changing of the seasons. With the anticipated arrival of fall, most folks are eager to get their pumpkin spice lattes and apple picking on.  While San Francisco might not have the same fall foliage that the east coast claims, we still have ways to indulge your taste for all things autumn and cute. Grab your coziest cable-knit sweater and get ready for these things to do and see in SF this fall.

Apple Picking

head to the orchard! Things To Do and See in SF This Fall

Nothing is quite as quintessentially fall as apple picking.  About two hours north of San Francisco is where you can escape into rolling hills and a bounty of farms.  The folks at Live Earth Farm have made it super accessible, with U-Picks held on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am-3:00 pm.  Spend the day picking seasonal fruits, getting to know the farmers and community, while also making your friends green with envy from all your charming photos.

A portion of the day’s proceedings, go to La Cocina, an organization dedicated to supporting low-income food entrepreneurs, women and POC.  ($6 entry, October 13th, 2018 11:00 am-7:00 pm)
