If you’re a Sex and the City fan visiting or living in the Big Apple you have to take the pilgrimage to Carrie Bradshaw’s ICONIC West Village Apartment! If you’re curious about the Carrie Bradshaw apartment’s NYC location, how to get there, and what else to do in the area, you’ve come to the right place!
Where is Carrie Bradshaw’s Apartment?
If you’re a die-hard SATC fan, you might have been surprised when I mentioned the West Village in the intro. After all, Carrie herself gives the address 245 E. 73rd Street when she’s asked on the show. This may be the fictional address of her apartment, but the place the show actually filmed at is in the West Village! I know I was shocked to find out Carrie Bradshaw’s Apartment is in the Greenwich Village/West Village area rather than the Upper East Side.
Carrie Bradshaw’s Apartment Address
The Carrie Bradshaw apartment in NYC can be found at 66 Perry St, New York, NY 10014, USA.
How to get to Carrie Bradshaw’s Apartment in NYC
The nearest trains are the A/C and L at 14 St/8 Av, and the 1/2/3 and F at 14th St.
If you get off the A/C or L train, you will walk down 8th Ave until you come upon W 4th Street. You’ll then make a left and walk until you see Perry Street on your right. The apartment is on the left side of the street. This walk should take you 10 minutes at the most.
If you get off the 1/2/3 or F at 14th Street, you will walk up 14th Street to 7th Avenue (away from 6th). Then you’ll walk down 7th till you hit Perry Street and make a right. The apartment will be on your left after you pass W 4th Street.
Carrie Bradshaw’s Apartment Layout

Since you won’t be able to go inside, we can give you a good idea of what Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment interior looks like. The folks at boredpanda.com created the awesome 3D layout pictured above.
You can see that Carrie’s apartment is an open concept studio with a central walled-in kitchen and plenty of room to hang her clothes in the hallway by the bathroom. The bedroom and living room are one continuous space delineated by partial walls. The layout also generously allows for a foyer-type space right when you come in.

Magnolia Bakery
Stop by Magnolia Bakery to get a Carrie Cupcake (and a banana pudding)! The Carrie Cupcake is a vanilla cupcake with light pink vanilla buttercream on top and a little sugar daisy to top it off. Carrie and Miranda visited Magnolia Bakery in season 3 Episode 5, and the bakery made a cupcake to honor SATC’s legacy soon after!

West Village Shopping
If you want to dress like Carrie Bradshaw, you have to check out the Village’s incredible vintage and thrift shops! Hamlet’s Vintage, Screaming Mimi’s, and Isalis are all unique vintage shops within walking distance from Carrie’s apartment. I could totally picture her frequenting these shops if she lived in the Village.

Jefferson Market Garden
New York has beautiful parks, and we don’t just mean the Central one everyone talks about! There is a memorable scene shot at the Jefferson Market Garden where Miranda gets married after struggling to find the right venue for some time. This garden just so happens to be down the street from Carrie’s apartment, at 10 Greenwich Ave, so be sure to stop by after you see her place.
