Anna’s One Day Itinerary

Start out the morning with Restaurant located in my ‘hood, the Outer Sunset at 4001 Judah Street.   Anna particularly loves the smell of ocean breeze, pines and eucalyptus in this local foggy ‘hood but most importantly you’re coming here for THE FOOD and THE VIBE. Outerlands will give you a full San Francisco breakfast experience, including waiting in the line for your breakfast.  You’ll be getting a delicious creatively handcrafted meal, made from sustainably grown vegetables and meats. They even bake their own amazing bread here, but make sure to try their “Eggs in a Jail!”

Then head over to hike around Sutro Baths. There are gorgeous views, an amazing story and San Francisco is all about being active and outdoors.

After you’ve worked up an appetite, take a taxi or an Uber (use code AvitalTours for your first ride up to $20 free) for lunch at the Soma StrEat Food Park at 428 11th Street in SOMA. Its a collection of food trucks and will give you a great sense of the movement, and a great choice of local and diverse street food.

From lunch, its then time to see some of San Francisco’s diverse neighborhoods – this is best if you have a car or take a Hop On Hop Off bus as transportation to get between the neighborhoods. There’s some great walking and exploring through Chinatown and North Beach, both distinctive ethnic neighborhoods and alleyways. Anna also recommends the Haight and Castro…

After exploring San Francisco’s iconic neighborhoods, Anna just can’t get enough of the Ocean and its back to the Cliff House for dinner.  It is especially gorgeous during sunset and she recommends savoring the tuna tartar in your mouth.

If you’re still up for it, check out nearby Golden Gate Park’s Nightlife at California Academy of Science for an evening activity. It’s always a fun way to learn something new – plus they serve adult beverages.
