Hot Chocolate Holiday Mixer

Welcome! We’re so excited to host you! Please prepare for your Hot Chocolate Holiday Mixer by following the steps below. If you have any questions along the way, just ask!

1: Prepare Your Tools

• Mug

• Measurement Spoons

• Mixing Spoon

• 2 Plates for Rimming Mug (Optional)

• Wooden Chopstick, Metal Skewer, or Fork for Roasting Marshmallow (Optional)

• Gas Stove, Kitchen Torch, or Ethanol Fuel Can for Roasting Marshmallow (Optional)

2: Prepare Your Ingredients

Essential Ingredients

• 1 Cup Hot Water or Hot Milk

• 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder

• 1 Tbsp Sugar (if the Cocoa Powder is unsweetened)

• Spices: Choose 2-3 Spices, like Cardamom, Cloves, Chile Powder, Cinnamon, Turmeric, or Nutmeg

Optional Ingredients

• Alcohol: Make it boozy by bringing a favorite spirit like Mezcal, Bourbon, Rum, Kahlua, Peppermint Schnapps, Bailey’s Irish Cream, Benedictine, Chartreuse, etc.

• Rim: Build your own rim with this formula:

—○ Choose 1 Sticky Substance, like Maple Syrup, Honey, Frosting, Marshmallow Fluff, Corn Syrup or Melted Chocolate

—○ Choose 1-2 Extras, like Candy Cane Pieces, Sprinkles, Cookies, Oreos, Graham Cracker, Peppermint Bark, or Chocolate Chips

• Toppings: Choose your favorite toppings, like Marshmallows, Dried Oranges, Whipped Cream, or Cinnamon Sticks

4: Prepare Your Platform

Please ensure you have the correct video platform, such as Zoom, downloaded for your event.

For a more interactive experience, we encourage all guests to turn their video on during the experience.

Prepare your space

Make sure you have a strong internet connection with little background noise if possible.

Mute yourself when not speaking

This will eliminate background noise (like cocktail shaking!) that makes it difficult for others to hear the speaker.

Be sure to come prepared

Come with ingredients and supplies ready! Set yourself up in the kitchen where you have ample counter space and access to a sink.

Please come 10 minutes early

This way we can get to know each other and start right on time!
